Still sick...but Matthew comes back!

We start to get a bit sick

Walking down to the coffee shop; playing outside on the sidewalk; helping Terran down from the car; special appearance by Téa!; playing hide and seek

Starting to warm up

Wearing their earmuffs because of the noisy spot cleaner; helping me trim the bushes; park time; couch fort; picnic

We get even more rain!

Walking to Safeway in the rain, riding on horsie, helping me weed the snow peas, checking out Sophia's Valentine bounty,  and two impromptu writing sessions

We finally get some rain

We do lots of indoor activities, including some snuggling with daddy on the couch, folding some Star Wars flyers, going to our favorite coffee shop, playing "going to Caillou", helping  mommy with her knitting, and visiting the library.

It freezes every morning for a week!

Matthew, Emily and Dan are here.  Cuddles on the couch; our favorite local coffee shop hosts game night; we make our Christmas countdown chains; and we drag Terran around from store to store to do some Christmas shopping.  Incidentally, we discover that our local Barnes and Noble will be closing down! We are devastated!   In completely unrelated news, I finish Christmas shopping on Amazon.com.

Just the three of us

We are in between guests this week! Matthew is gone, Emily and Dan have gone for a little road trip that includes Vegas, and Baba Jiji will come next week!
We check out Santa Claus in downtown Martinez (we waited a whole minute in line!), collected our neighbors leaves for our compost pile (first a little playtime though), and checked out our neighbors lights. And nobody puts Terran into a box. Except when it's himself and he refuses to get out.
