Sophia graduates to a booster seat; Thomas enjoys new pajamas; I take the kids out to a vegetarian Japanese restaurant 10 minutes from our house(!); we try building with Legos at the library; Terran wants MORE FOOD!

Memorial Day week continued
Kathy is taking care of Terran this week while Utaka and Shauna are on vacation! So we use the week to do whatever we want, whenever we want!
We do a bit of fixing up the house, visit the doctor, keep Kathy company by the side of the road when she had car trouble and then went to Starbucks!
Matthew came back too!

Living without the kitchen for a week!

They are refinishing the hardwood floors and painting the walls in the kitchen and newly expanded dining room this week, so it is very stinky in our house! On Monday they told us, by the way, once we start in here, you can't come in to the kitchen again until Thursday. I managed to pull out the hot water kettle and some cups and bowls before the dust and noise drove me out. Shauna and Utaka graciously let us spend the days at their house, just like when we were at the apartment. It was nice to not have to eat out at EVERY meal! I don't know how Matthew handles that when he is out on a trip for two weeks at a time!
