Matthew, on the few days he had at home between recurrent training and his new trip. Sophia holding up her head so well!
Thomas and Dad ("Jiji") enjoying the afternoon sunshine and weather. Has been getting into the mid-eighties these days.
Sophia gaining weight! Can now roll herself from her side to her tummy, all by herself! Is still almost always sleeping through the night!
As I was folding laundry on my bed, having Sophia keep me company, Thomas crawled into bed too. So cute.
Recently, the favored way of sleeping: "Blues Clues" blanket, topped by a carefully balanced pillow. Yes, it's still balanced on him as he sleeps! I don't know how it started, but it's been like this for about two weeks. We've been doing several things recently: trying to train him to stay in his room at bedtime; put him onto Pacific Time for our stopover in San Francisco on our way to New Zealand; and our first foray into potty training. Of the three, I can say that we've had success with only the first, keeping him in his room at bedtime. As it turns out, the solution was a gate, along with a few other techniques culled from "Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems" by Dr. Ferber. Good book, had found it in the markdown bin when Thomas was still an infant.
